Haven't posted for awhile. 
Since the exam periods.

So finally, my long awaited holiday is here.
But all of the sudden, the holidays seem very empty.
Wanted to do so much things the night before the last paper, but when the last paper is over, all I wanted was to go home and sleep.

Anw, ningyang suggested joining stardust. but i wasn't really for the idea, since we also never play together before and the audition is next week, but he manage to convince me to join since i will be super free and i will be playing with eugene and nian as well. Not much hope of getting through the auditions but well, just for the experience.
Audition song will be Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots. Relatively easy song, but time ain't on our side. So got to squeeze 2 or 3 jams in this week. arrgh. Hope can get tight in time.

On the other hand, I'm really happy that the 2 originals, 'Stars and Blindness' and er, i forgot what the song name is. we called it the disco song all along, are completed. Took us quite awhile, and very very tiring to keep changing small parts, and now, finally done. Looking forward to recording it. Yay.

And then, what else.

I guess this 7 weeks of hols, I want to dedicate it mainly to my drumming. Decide not to find work, and just spend time working chops and going for jams. Hope i will have a musical breakthrough when the next sem starts.

Wahah, I think I'm awesome, read through 9 chapters of lectures and tutorials from 11pm - 2am. And I'm leaving out the remaining 3 cos I think ample sleep is more important for exams. Hopefully, I don't fail.

Just one of the nights when I feel like just closing my eyes, not think of anything, and just chill to some music.
Been really angry and pissed over a few things for the past few days. But have been channeling the anger all into drumming, can't be bothered to think about so much either.

So much so that, my neighbour called the police on saturday night to complain about the "noise".

Fuck you.

Just because you don't know how to appreciate drums, who the fuck are you to judge me and saying i'm making noise and being a nuisance.

And so what if the police came? They also can't do anything and I can carry on doing what I like.
The fact that I stop drumming every night before 10pm is already a compromise,
Cos the Law states that  "Any Noise to stop after 10.30pm" - and Noise/Disturbance can apply to practically anything even to a point of some people who have the culture of talking loudly, Karaoking, Majong can be anything. So can the cop come up to me and say that my drums is not an instrument but a noise producer. Fucking loser.

Been working on my double pedaling for the past few days as I want to form a metalcore band asap. Bfmv and A7X super inspiring to listen to and work out ur footwork. So since you think that what I am making is noise, and you actually went to complain to the police and my parents about the noise that I am making, I will fucking teach you how to appreciate metal. Haha.

Already got the 2 guitarist and vocals, left the bassist. Super hard to find the bassist.
Oh, and you know, by sheer coincidence, the rhythm guitarist happens to be from HoGC. Very very small world.

And I bumped into kevin, from ex-D1 the other day at daisyrock studio. Used to be from same cg but never really talked much to him and now, found out that he's jamming deathcore and screamos. Awesome, the beauty of fast footwork and shreds.

Was super super duper tired today.


Slept in late and thought I will do just fine with the exact 6 hours of sleep before I wake up at 8.30am for band practice at 10am. Who knows, at 7, idk why the hell the alarm started ringing and woke me up. Then realised it was for my bro, and went back to sleep, before waking up soon again.

Then headed down to bv mrt to bring huimin and karen to check out the band practice. Really sorry to them too, cos I din't know winds have to have their own instruments in order to join, hence they made a wasted trip. Argh.

That is why, be a percussionist.
Cos you can't possibly put a bassdrum, or timpani in your house right. Haha.

Then, at 1pm, packed up everything and rushed down to bugis, to meet edmund and jh to jam at beats merchant.
Fucking hell, we now then realise that they actually have a 25% discount for SAFRA card holders, wahahah. That really saves us alot. Sadly, caleb couldn't make it today, But we just use the time to work on originals for the upcoming gig. Somewhere in March I think.

So without caleb, we mainly free jam for the 2 hours, and by 1 hour plus, my body buay tahan already, so edmund took over drums and played around with junhong. Then I went for pratas beside the studio after the jam, and that was all I ate for the whole day.

Reached home, ko-ed, and only just woke up.

Anw, there's PBL Presentation in school tmr, and that marks the end of all classes!
Don't have to go to school anymore, till exams.

Aw.
